Suzanne and Stephanie are committed to raising consciousness and healing through the arts. They created ArtSong Yoga by combining their prospective art forms of the visual and performing arts and weave in Kundalini Yoga throughout the creative process. ArtSong Yoga incorporates yoga, painting, and sound current to bring awareness to the energy centers of the body. Through experiential learning, the inner artist will be awakened, nurtured and expressed.
Suzanne and Stephanie have presented their work at such venues as Dickinson College, Hamptons Yoga Fest, Sat Nam Fest, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Arts, Beloved Daughters of the Maasai Shelter in Nairobe, Africa, Chester County Prison Juvenile Division, Ronald McDonald House, Ramana’s Garden Orphanage, India, Hospice of Fairfield County and Ganga Prem Hospice, India.
Stephanie received her BFA from Parson’s School of Design and continued her artistic studies in Paris and London. She works professionally as an artist and has exhibited her paintings throughout the country and in Europe, at such galleries as: Farum Gallery, Denmark, New Century Artists, NY, Silvermine Arts Center, CT, Gallery Flux, VA and Lockwood Matthews Museum, CT She is a KRI certified kundalini yoga and meditation instructor and trained in India with Ghurmukh.
Suzanne received her Master’s degree in vocal performance from the University of Maryland and was a resident singer with the Washington National Opera for 25 years. She is also a professional kirtan singer and performs at venues throughout the United States. Her discography includes YogaSing, ChakraWakening, Wordless Prayer, Twelve Simple Words and The Essence of Yoga. Her newest album, Merge will be released in early 2016. She trained with Snatam Kaur and Hari Kiran Kaur and is a KRI certified kundalini yoga and meditation instructor.
